1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using MeetXBuild ("Platform"), you accept and agree to be bound by these terms. MeetXBuild is a matching platform for startup founders and cofounders seeking to connect and collaborate. If you do not agree, please do not use this service.

2. Eligibility

You must be:

• At least 18 years old.
• A legitimate startup founder, developer, designer, or entrepreneur interested in building startups.
• Able to legally enter into binding contracts in your jurisdiction.
• Authorized to work in the United States (US citizen, permanent resident, valid work visa, or F-1 STEM OPT eligible).

We respect visa diversity and welcome founders on immigrant visas (H-1B, L-1, O-1, E-2) and non-immigrant work authorization. Your immigration status does not affect your ability to match and collaborate on MeetXBuild.

3. Account Registration

You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete profile information (name, photo, skills, interests, visa status if desired).
• Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• Be responsible for all activity under your account.
• Update your profile if your situation changes (location, skills, availability, visa status).

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information on your profile.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity or credentials.
• Harass, threaten, abuse, or discriminate against other users based on race, gender, age, visa status, national origin, or other protected characteristics.
• Share explicit, offensive, or illegal content.
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or private messages.
• Use the Platform for purposes unrelated to founder collaboration (e.g., recruitment spam, multi-level marketing).
• Scrape, crawl, or automate access to the Platform.
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations.

5. Visa & Immigration

MeetXBuild is designed to support founders with diverse visa statuses. We do not provide legal immigration advice. You are solely responsible for:

• Understanding your visa restrictions and work authorization limits.
• Consulting an immigration attorney before making business decisions.
• Ensuring any partnership or startup activity complies with your visa terms.

We facilitate introductions only; we do not sponsor visas or provide legal guidance.

6. Matching & Messaging

MeetXBuild uses a swipe-based matching system to connect founders with similar interests and skills. When you match with another founder, you can send direct messages. You agree that:

• All conversations are between you and the other founder. MeetXBuild is not a party to any partnership or agreement.
• Any legal agreements, NDAs, or term sheets must be negotiated directly between founders.
• MeetXBuild is not liable for any disputes between matched founders.

7. Intellectual Property

You retain all rights to your profile content, messages, and ideas. By posting on MeetXBuild, you grant us a non-exclusive license to display your profile information to other founders on the Platform. You agree not to infringe on third-party intellectual property rights.

8. Limitation of Liability

MeetXBuild is provided "as is." We make no warranties about accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose. We are not liable for:

• Failed matches or communication breakdowns between founders.
• Disputes, fraud, or broken agreements between founders.
• Loss of business opportunity or consequential damages.
• Any third-party content or links on the Platform.

9. Termination

MeetXBuild reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account if you:

• Violate these Terms.
• Engage in harmful, fraudulent, or illegal behavior.
• Post content that violates community guidelines.

You may delete your account at any time through your profile settings.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in the United States.
